The heroes dispatched the goblin pyros and the warchanter cast cure light wounds on herself after she was first wounded. She fought to the death. After tangling with the first two groups of goblins, the heroes were wounded. All around them goblins were performing their antics (a goblin leapt off a roof in an attempt to land on a victim but missed and broke his neck, a goblin threw a lit torch at a fleeing mother only to have it land on another goblin and light his armor on fire), but they were allowed to catch their breaths. Die, Dog, Die! The final event at the goblin raid occurred after things at the festival itself had calmed somewhat. Here and there, the sounds of battle, clanging swords, calls of support by the town guard, and shrieking and singing goblins echoed through the streets, but at the festival itself, most of the citizens had fled. One or two goblins remained behind to scavenge food, and many more lay dead (along with a few unfortunate citizens). It was obviou...
